David vs. David

By now, you all probably have heard of the Biblical story of the battle between David and Goliath. Well, this evening, we had a battle of David vs. David. The "American Idol" Season 7 finale just finished up about 15 minutes before I made this post on the blog. In this episode, David Cook was matched up against David Archuleta. David Garringer Jr., who runs this blog, couldn't be much happier. And when the dust...and the traditional white confetti had settled...David Cook won by about 12 million votes. This means that David Cook is your new American Idol. After watching all this unfold, I wished I was there live in person. After all, can't you imagine David Cook, David Archuleta, and David Garringer Jr. basking under the shower of the white confetti...especially with all those lovely ladies in the audience up by stage? It would sure make my evening great and make me proud.
