Adding On

If you've been watching the news recently, then you probably found out that Herschend Family Entertainment has added rides to two of the amusement parks that they own in the Branson, MO area. First, let's look at HFE's flagship park, Silver Dollar City. They're in the process of adding a new ride in, and it's called The Giant Swing. It's a pendulum swing ride that takes riders 7 stories into the sky at 45 mph, and if I'm not mistaken, it turns riders upside down. Now our attention turns to HFE's water park in Branson, White Water. There, a section called Typhoon Towers is being added, and one of the rides there is two 300-foot deep-slope drops that you can body-slide on. The way I see it, 2007 appears to be a fun season at these two parks, to say the least.
