While I was reading the October 23 edition of the Springfield News-Leader, I happened to find out about a carnival museum in southwestern Kansas that a reader wrote about. The reader's talking about the Carnival Heritage Center in Kinsley, KS, which is 35 miles east of Dodge City. Here's the story: One family from the Kinsley, KS area had roots to six carnivals that started there in the early 1900's. The town then decided to honor and record carnival history with the aforementioned museum.
