It's A Knockout!!!

Back on October 20, I was watching NBC's new hit game show, 1 vs. 100. On the show, 1 player goes up against a "mob" of 100 players, answering questions in an attempt to win $1 million. On the episode I was watching, one of the mob members was former "Jeopardy" champion Ken Jennings. Now we all thought that Ken Jennings would do well here...or so we thought until the aforementioned episode, on which he got knocked out. In case you weren't watching, here's the question on which KenJen got KO'ed:

What color is the #1 space on a roulette wheel?
A) red
B) black
C) green

Now anyone who has been in a casino to play roulette would have got the answer right, which was (A) red. Unfortunately, Ken didn't, and now he's gone.

Article About Carnival Heritage Center in Kinsley, KS

While I was reading the October 23 edition of the Springfield News-Leader, I happened to find out about a carnival museum in southwestern Kansas that a reader wrote about. The reader's talking about the Carnival Heritage Center in Kinsley, KS, which is 35 miles east of Dodge City. Here's the story: One family from the Kinsley, KS area had roots to six carnivals that started there in the early 1900's. The town then decided to honor and record carnival history with the aforementioned museum. The museum features items of carnival memorabilia, and soon, a working Double Decker Carousel will be added to the mix. If you need more info, I have the News-Leader article linked right here for you.
